I love having a simple YES/NO technique to answer all sorts of questions.
The BodyTalk work that I do is based completely on getting a very good yes/no response from someone else’s body - with added intuition from myself of course. All it takes is good questioning skills to get to the crux of all sorts of issues eg, “what is a priority in today’s session?” “Is it a body part yes/no?” “Is it a chakra yes/no?” And we keep going through all the layers of the whole being; physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually finding all the little blockages that need clearing and balancing… amazing hey!! I even chose the wall colours for the main living areas of my house using yes/no. I stood in front of the huge wall of sample colour cards and asked the first question. Is the colour I need in the first 100, answer was no. Next, is the one I need between 100 and 200 yes! Then I broke it down into 50s then 10 then just that 1, 2, 3, etc. When I had my final number I looked at the card with that number and YES it was the perfect colour. exactly what I had been looking for and it wasn’t in the section I had originally checked. Mostly I use the techniques I have learnt from my BodyTalk practice, but I also have fun and learn a lot from using any of my pendulums, or in fact using my whole body as an enormous pendulum. As with any tool you need to practice using it. The more you use it the better you will become and the more you will learn to fully trust what you get.

When I first studied and then passed my BodyTalk exams and was setting up my business, I was lead to believe that I would have a successful practice within 3 months if I set the intention and marked out spaces in my diary for the hordes of clients that would be knocking down my door. The following belief system was also implanted a successful practice has a wait list of clients and the practitioner busy 12 hours a day for 7 days a week… Did this ever happen for me – a big fat NO! Did I beat myself up about my lack of reaching this goal? Hell Yeah, all the time. I felt like a total loser. What had I done wrong in this or previous lives for The Universe to not give me this?
Fast forward about 5 years and eventually (DUH!) I realised I had absolutely no desire to work a very full on 7 days a week and that a ‘wait list clinic’ could consist of only a couple of clients if that is what I chose to limit the numbers to. At last the work flowed, as in fact it always had done, with the exact number of clients that fitted in to MY lifestyle and what I wanted for my business, ie, small and exclusive…. YAY, I was successful after all! Finding and acknowledging those belief systems that somehow worm their way into our being and having the tools to clear them can have such a profound impact on our life and the way we live it. Lets shift that BS ;) |
