![]() As someone who communicates with animals the one thing people always say to me is “I wish I could talk to my pet!” Well the good news is that you CAN. You may not develop the skills to hear what they have to say, unless you really want to, but that should never stop you from talking to them because they will be listening. Animals of course do not talk in the same language as us, dogs in particular are all about smell and body language. Being able to read body language means that they understand things very well in pictures. So if you need to let them know something, such as you moving home or going on holiday you can send them images energetically over the airwaves whilst they are in close proximity to you. Connect on a heart to heart level and send loving thoughts with the pictures let them know they are always loved and that you will be in the new place alongside them. Imagine what their bed will look like in its’s new spot and the animals will pick that up from you via the airwaves. The one things animals don’t get in the same way as us humans is time. We wear watches and have all sorts of devices that keep us on time or remind us that we don’t have enough time (that is another blog right there lols). So if you need to communicate time to your pet use nature… Sunrise, sun highest (midday) sunset for during a day. Longer periods can be how many dark times (nights – no point saying x number of sleeps to a dog or cat!), how many moon cycles for months and of course seasons for longer periods. See it is quite easy and logical once you start to think a little outside of the human box. Use direct communications too, ask a question such as “do you like the food I am giving you?” You may surprise yourself and hear the answer clearly in your mind but look for those body signs – did the dogs ears or head drop or did it perk up and look alert, did the cat get up from in front of the warm fire and walk away, or turn and gaze at you? These are all good indicators of how the animal is feeling. As always don’t over complicate it and TRUST the messages you receive, I know your animals will love to get on board and play with you.

![]() I love all the things I have collected and added into my own life and my journey into healing, reading and all things spiritual. Here in no particular order are some of my favourites. Cards I LOVE cards of every shape, size and type… did you know that ;). The first Tarot deck that I bought is still my favourite but others get outings as and when I am drawn to them. Some cards even get a look in during my healings, such as colour and crystal cards, or even if we need some extra energy or a message from the Spirit Realm. Cards are for so much more than basic readings as each card holds an energetic resonance, as every single thing does. Sage My go-to cleanser for my healing room, my home, myself. Taking time to light the leaves and walk around with the intention of releasing all negativity is so cathartic. Feathers I have a couple of smudging wands, one which I made myself. As well as using these with my sage, I will also use with clients to shift energy from their Aura. Feathers represent the element of air (to me) and so I will have some around to balance the 5 elements of my home. These have mostly been gifted to me by the birds that share my peaceful chunk of Australian soil. Medicine Drum My hand made (again by me) medicine drum hangs in pride of place in my healing room flanked by angels. She has an amazing resonance and the vibrations travel though you like nothing else on this earth. Great for shifting and moving energy around whether for a person or space. Gassong drum Have you heard of these? Made from a recycled gas bottle, mine is tuned to the heart charkra and sits under my healing bed to be called on as and when necessary. Because the heart chakra is the central chakra as this balances waves ripple out to the others, thereby bringing all into balance. The other amazing thing is that due to the notes in makes, you can play it in any way/order and it never sounds ‘off’, how cool is that! Rattle Another sound tool. Mine is based on an aboriginal rattle and again is used for cleansing and shifting energy. Energy sprays These come in all sorts of types, cleansing of the aura, adding any of the 5 elements, balancing the chakras, crystal based, to name but a few. They can be sprayed over and around myself as well as my clients. One of my personal favourites is Crystal Clear which was created by my good friend Karmina of Elemental Mists. Crystals Oh how I love crystals, you will find them everywhere in my house. Each type of crystal resonates with its own vibrational energy and when it is near other things that have the same or similar energy it will bring the vibration back to where it should be if out of sync.. so if your liver is not happy, keeping a crystal in close proximity with the same vibration the liver should, be will bring back balance. I use mine for my personal wellbeing, directly on others or in crystal grids to give a positive energy burst to people, places and situations. As I said this is just a very quick overview. When building your own Spiritual Toolkit, it is important to go with the flow of your own intuition. If you are drawn to it in a positive way then give it a try. As long as you start with the intention of doing no harm – then no harm can be done. Life is for living so let’s make it as easy as possible. |
