![]() In my humble opinion and from 12 years’ experience of working in this field I, undoubtedly, 100 percent, believe it works – otherwise why would I still be here? I know that the lives of many have been changed by the work that I do. I don’t often put myself out there in this way and some may find it rather egotistical or confronting – but I am who I am – no apologies. It has taken many years of self-work to get to this point in my life, but here I am warts 'n' all. All of creation is made up of vibration – ie energy waves. The work that I do taps in to the waves of your life and can find out where and why the waves are too calm, to turbulent or in some cases non-existent. I find a lot of the people who are drawn to work with me start off with some sort of physical pain or are at a point in their life where they have simply had enough, which acts as a catalyst for wanting change. Once we connect I drill down using the tools I have learnt along the way, to build a picture (formula) of the underlying reasons for the pain. So often the pain is founded in emotionally charged memories from this and past life experiences and trauma of some kind. Recognising the base line for what it is makes it easier for those things to be accepted as part of the life journey, and the hold they have can be allowed to drift away. This does not diminish what has happened in life or make it have never happened – it just means it no longer has an energetic hold over you that is creating blocks in your life. I need to add – that I do not make ‘healing’ happen, I am just a conduit/observer and if anyone says they do my suggestion is to keep well away as that is from a place of ego. I hope that this, in some way helps you lighten the load you are carrying,

As everybody does, I have ups, downs and roundabouts to face in life on a daily or even minute to minute basis, so it is great to have a tool to help navigate those that fits into the palm of my hand. That tool, for me, is my trusty old Robin Wood Tarot cards (this is my all-time favourite deck and has been for 40 years – EEK, how old am I getting lols).
I will start each day by drawing a card to help me judge how the day will pan out. If I have a feeling it is going to be ‘one of those days’ – and there seem to have been a few of these recently, I will draw other cards to help clarify what obstacles may lay ahead and if I have to face them head on or have the chance to navigate around them or even do a U-turn. Using my cards I can tap into the energy field of each member of the household and as an example, see below the surface to who perhaps needs a little extra nurturing or to be left alone for a while. This by itself will help to iron out any issues before they even arise - how good is that!! I will also use my cards when making decisions on a personal or business level. This reduces my stress because it is like having someone else helping to give you guidance. Yes, it is still up to my personal interpretation and I can read the cards to suit how I think things should pan out, but at the end of the day isn’t that just tapping into my intuition and creating a flow of positivity and manifestation. That’s a win-win in my world. How do you use your cards – or do you have another tool that you use? I would love to hear all about it in the comments. I love both giving and receiving Reiki. Reiki is energy that is channelled by the practitioner and passed to the receiver… it is NOT given by the practitioner but passes through them.
There are so many benefits, these are just a few:
If you have never experienced a Reiki session first hand, I highly recommend you give it a try at least once in your life. I was sceptical but now it is one of my main go too tools. When I first studied and then passed my BodyTalk exams and was setting up my business, I was lead to believe that I would have a successful practice within 3 months if I set the intention and marked out spaces in my diary for the hordes of clients that would be knocking down my door. The following belief system was also implanted a successful practice has a wait list of clients and the practitioner busy 12 hours a day for 7 days a week… Did this ever happen for me – a big fat NO! Did I beat myself up about my lack of reaching this goal? Hell Yeah, all the time. I felt like a total loser. What had I done wrong in this or previous lives for The Universe to not give me this?
Fast forward about 5 years and eventually (DUH!) I realised I had absolutely no desire to work a very full on 7 days a week and that a ‘wait list clinic’ could consist of only a couple of clients if that is what I chose to limit the numbers to. At last the work flowed, as in fact it always had done, with the exact number of clients that fitted in to MY lifestyle and what I wanted for my business, ie, small and exclusive…. YAY, I was successful after all! Finding and acknowledging those belief systems that somehow worm their way into our being and having the tools to clear them can have such a profound impact on our life and the way we live it. Lets shift that BS ;) |
